At Mitsui & Co., engaged in the social infrastructure business, gaining experience in developing large-scale overseas projects such as power plants and smart cities, forming joint ventures, M&A, PMI, value enhancement, and implementing vision-driven management while seconded to operating companies. Later earned a master’s degree at the Institute of Design, Illinois Institute of Technology, specializing in innovation methodologies and system design utilizing “design in its broadest sense.
At BIOTOPE, integrates hands-on business experience with design theory, leading projects across for-profit, non-profit, and public institutions. Expertise spans long-term visioning, defining and embedding corporate philosophy, strategy formulation, business and service design, and vision-driven branding. With a systems perspective, excels at analyzing the structural challenges of society and organizations and creating nonlinear change and value through the power of vision. In addition to consulting, frequently lectures and conducts training on business design, system design, design thinking, and co-creation facilitation.
